TranWare Enterprise Cashiering and Shifting is renowned in the taxi industry, widely respected by our competitors and often recommended to their own clients. It can be purchased as a separate stand-alone enterprise application or as an integrated component of the complete TranWare Enterprise Suite. Whether purchased separately or as a complete system, TranWare Enterprise is most often combined with the TranWare Billing and Accounts Receivable module and Accounting Export Modules to form a complete back office solution.

TranWare Cashiering and Shifting completely manages fleet and driver financial transactions, including all types of driver vehicle leases, dispatch fees, wages, credit card and account voucher disbursements, driver commissions, shift fees, fuel charges, driver loans, etc. TranWare’s integrated Double Entry General Ledger System can be aligned with the GL codes used in your existing accounting program to streamline and simplify accounting procedures.

Comprehensive Driver Shifting allows a Dispatcher or Manager to quickly check a driver into or out of a vehicle, even in mid-shift, such as when a vehicle breaks down or a special vehicle is required for a specific order. TranWare Shifting maintains accurate records of the time spent and mileage driven in each vehicle by each driver, with the ability to automatically assess late shift penalties, etc. Multiple Drivers may share the same vehicle. TranWare Cashiering maintains individual driver accounts, enabling drivers’ to be manually or automatically charged for items such as security deposits, driver loans, lease fees, uniform charges, communications fees, etc.

TranWare Cashiering automatically separates cash, account, credit card and voucher trips to accurately track individual driver cash flow, maintaining a complete set of accounting records per driver. Checking a driver out of a vehicle pops up all completed trips, separated by charge type. These trips can be either saved for later reconciliation and cashiering or the driver may be cashiered right on the spot and provided with a complete printed report.

When combined with wireless trip dispatch and in-vehicle credit card processing, TranWare Cashiering keeps track of all trip transactions on the fly, separating them by transaction type. (Cash, Credit Card, Account Trips, Vouchers) Without any manual intervention by a dispatcher or administrator, the system tracks the exact amount of every trip, including the transaction type and even the breakdown of the fare with and without driver tip. (On non-cash trips)

Before the driver even checks out of the vehicle, TranWare is ready to bill account trips and knows the driver’s exact balance. Cashiering the driver is therefore a very simple, quick and painless affair.
