Commercial GPS Tracking
The iTRAKpro™ is a complete GPS package designed for simple installation into any commercial vehicle. It consists of the latest generation of iTRAK™ intelligent GPS interface modules and a high accuracy GPS receiver, combined with a wireless packet data modem, all in a tiny package. iTRAKpro™ provides a high performance, fixed-in-vehicle tracking solution.
The iTRAKpro is available with integrated internal GPS and communications antennas, allowing for a fast and simple covert installation. Alternately, it may be purchased with external antennas for commercial installations where maximizing performance is more important than having a covert installation.
iTRAKpro™ installed-in-vehicle GPS tracking device:
- Does not require any driver intervention
- Can be permanently installed, out of sight on the vehicle
- High performance GPS capability (accuracy within 3 metres)
- Allows remote monitoring and control of vehicle inputs and outputs, such as driver emergency, engine on, PTO, etc
- Automatically stores out-of-coverage position data and updates tracking system when back in coverage
- GPS Location message delivery confirmation - guaranteed delivery of vehicle location
- Available with GPRS or CDMA connectivity to support all leading wireless carrier
- Active GPS antenna maximizes performance

The iTRAKpro™ incorporates a great deal of flexibility and can be programmed for any combination of Time or Distance based reporting. Distance based reporting is recommended to eliminate redundant position messages, reducing the number of position packets being broadcast over the network, thus reducing airtime costs. The iTRAKpro™ can also be programmed to intelligently report when the vehicle stops for more than x minutes and then report a start when the vehicle begins moving again. The combination of distance based reporting with start and stops differentiates iTRAK from most other providers, most of which report simply on a time basis. In addition, the iTRAKpro™ provides "store and forward" tracking, so that while out of coverage it can store up to 2000 position reports, then automatically update iTRAK Fleet Manager™ when coverage is restored. The unit cab be completely diagnosed and re-programmed over-the-air remotely at any time.
The unit allows fleet managers to remotely monitor and/or control vehicle functions, such as Driver Emergency, Door Open, PTO On/Off, Remote Vehicle Kill, Remote Door Unlock, etc. All iTRAKpro™ units come complete with engine on monitoring in addition to additional inputs that can be configured to suit the user's preferences.
