The Piccolo-AT™ is the industry’s most advanced asset and trailer tracking solution. With its tiny size, waterproof enclosure and integrated antennas, the Piccolo-AT is a completely self contained tracking unit that can be installed in only a few minutes. The Piccolo-AT is available with an internal power source that can last up to 5 years without external power, making it ideal for tracking trailers or other equipment assets. An internal motion detector allows the GPS receiver and wireless data modem to be powered down completely and awakened only when motion is detected. Once it awakens due to motion, it can be set to report periodically on any combination of distance and/or time until it stops moving, at which point it will go back to sleep. You may also program the unit to wake up periodically and report its position even when no motion is detected, to provide assurance to you that it is still operational.

Installation Simplicity

For asset or trailer tracking applications, the Piccolo is unmatched for installation simplicity, due to its integrated power and antennas. Simply attach the unit to the trailer or asset being tracked -no external connections are necessary. Internal power is provided by standard "C" size batteries, which can power the unit for up to 5 years, depending on the reporting frequency. For trailer or asset tracking applications, the Piccolo-AT™ will also alert you when its on-board batteries become low.

If you already have a mapping solution bundled with your own host application, the Piccolo can be packaged with our MidLink™ middleware solution to interface via standard API's to your AVL/dispatch solution.
