Then... add a wireless packet data modem

The C2020™ is available with Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, enabling the device to act as an in-vehicle wireless router. By using the MidLink™ middleware, your already in-place fleet management/dispatch application can communicate seamlessly with your drivers. Simply purchase off-the-shelf PocketPCs for your fleet and you can utilize the C2020™ black box to add full wireless dispatch.

Load MidLink™ PocketPC on each PDA...

Purchase a MidLink™ PocketPC license from Future Quest Wireless for each unit. MidLink™ PocketPC is then loaded as a client application on the PDA.

This provides wireless connectivity as well as two-way messaging with text-to-speech capabilities and other tools such as signature capture, credit card and bar code interfaces.

MidLink™ PocketPC is installed on each PDA to act as either a stand-alone messaging application, with both free form and canned text messaging, or as an integral part of your own client application.

Powerful text-to-speech conversion is incorporated, so that messages to your fleet can be read out loud in crisp, clear English. Your drivers' need not take their eyes off the road!

Add GPS mapping if desired...

If you require vehicle tracking, then purchase Fleet.NET™, which can operate as a stand-alone AVL and messaging application, or can be added to your enterprise application to create a turnkey dispatch solution. Fleet.NET™ has powerful vehicle tracking capabilities and can be used to track a mixture of device types, including C2020™ fixed units, PhoneLink™ equipped Nextel or Telus Mike phones, or PDA units.
