TranAir Appoints Future Quest as Master Distributor

Today, TranWare, Inc., appointed Future Quest Wireless Inc. as the Master Distributor for the complete portfolio of TranWare Enterprise Transportation Solutions.

In announcing the appointment, Mr. Steve Furniss, President of TranWare, explains: “The untimely passing of TranWare cofounder and Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Jim Furniss, has created an opportunity to welcome Future Quest into an expanded role at TranWare. Since 1988, Future Quest has taken an aggressive stance in marketing, selling, implementing and supporting our suite of transportation management solutions. In addition, Future Quest has been instrumental in co-developing TranAir™, a public cellular network based dispatch system that brings both the capital and operating costs of digital dispatch down to levels previously unseen in the transportation industry.”

Further explaining the development, Mr. Furniss states “Future Quest President, Gord Walsh, has been a strong supporter of TranWare for many years and has made many positive contributions to our growth and success. Having Future Quest positioned as our Master Distributor will allow TranWare staff to further focus on product design and development, in order to meet our goal of providing the highest level of customization, flexibility and value in the industry.”

In welcoming the appointment, Mr. Walsh adds “This appointment is very meaningful to our organization.  Of course, the recognition for our contributions is much appreciated, but more importantly, this really sets the stage for the next phase of our mutual growth.” Explaining further, Mr. Walsh states: “With TranWare, we are able to provide highly configurable transportation dispatch systems with rich back-office capability at off-the-shelf prices.
