TranAir™ Digital Dispatch Feature Updates Released

Future Quest Wireless Inc. is pleased to announce the release of several new features for TranAir™, the revolutionary digital dispatch system that allows transportation companies to reap the benfits of automatic dispatch, vehicle tracking and credit card processing on readily available cellular phones. Since its introduction in 2004, TranAir™has been under constant evolution, with an ever-growing slate of capabilities that include fully automatic dispatch, GPS tracking, automatic GPS based zone book-in and taxi meter integration for credit card processing and credit card receipt printing.
TranAir™ provides the functionality of an expensive MDT (Mobile Data Terminal) at a much lower cost, allowing even small transportation operators to modernize their manual processes. Its wide range of capabilities and unmatched value are now widely used by transportation companies throught North America, with fleet sizes ranging from ten to several hundred vehicles.
New TranAir Features
- Driver Navigation -Drivers can request turn-by-turn directions to their pickup or dropoff with a single button press.
- Auto Log-On with Meter Flag -Drivers will be automatically logged into the dispatch system if they turn on their Centrodyne Taxi Meter and a loaded trip will appear on their phone and the dispatch screen.
- Auto Book-Off On Reject – Drivers that reject a trip will be put to the back of their zone queue. (Selectable)
- Auto Log-Off On Reject – Drivers that reject a trip will be logged off service automatically. (Selectable)
- Auto Book-Off On Ignore – Drivers that ignore a trip will be put to the back of their zone queue. (Selectable)
- Auto Log-Off On Ignore – Drivers that ignore a trip will be logged off automatically. (Selectable)
- Closest Vehicle GPS Dispatch – The closest driver to a call (if inside a defined radius of the call) will be automatically assigned a trip, regardless of their zone queue position. (Selectable)
- Tighter Cashiering Integration – Voucher and credit card based trip prices automatically populate into each driver's cashiering account, making cashiering the driver very simple.
- Alert On GPS Auto-Book – Drivers can be alerted or not alerted (Selectable) when they are automatically booked into zones via GPS.
- Vehicle Attributes – If a specific vehicle type is chosen for a trip, the system will only auto assign that particular vehicle type.
- Driver Attributes – Up to 5 driver attributes can be assigned to any trip. Only drivers with the matching attributes will be dispatched.
